Pres. Trump intends to continue his official duties

Despite the resounding call for the removal of outgoing President Donald Trump, he said he is still planning to continue his official duties.
This includes diplomatic outreach, transition activities and plans to visit the U.S.-Mexico border.
This is what Trump thought he would do while waiting for 10 days before President-elect Joe Biden formally takes office as president of the United States.
According to some sources from Trump’s camp, he has no intention of stepping down and he also does not feel pressure to resign.
So far nothing has been formally laid down for Vice President Mike Pence to use the 25th Amendment to oust the Republican president.
Pence’s seemingly silent treatment of Trump after the siege of Capitol Hill by his supporters also became very public.
It is said that Trump was not able to call the vice president to make sure that he or his family is safe from chaos.
Meanwhile, Republican Sen. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania called for Trump to resign because of the riot on Capitol Hill.
If he is the one to be questioned, it would be better for the Republican president to step down because he will only have 10 days to wait.
