1 member of the Serbian boat team tested positive for COVID-19 upon arrival in Japan

A member of Serbia’s Olympic boat team tested positive for COVID-19.
They only found out when they were subjected to screening and testing when they arrived at Haneda airport.
The positive member was taken to the medical facility while the four members who came in contact with it were also isolated.
They are also scheduled to travel to Nanto City in Toyama prefecture to conduct their training.
It will be recalled that the tournament was set for July 23 where Japanese authorities have restricted the screening of participating athletes.
