Suns Booker doesn’t want to compare himself to Kobe Bryant

Phoenix Suns Devin Booker should not be compared to NBA legend Kobe Bryant.

This was Booker’s statement when asked what his reaction was to fans comparing his play to Bryant.

According to Booker, he does not think about such a thing and is happy that the so -called ‘black mamba’ has mentored him in playing basketball.

“I haven’t really thought about it much,” Booker said.

Although the Suns are currently at a disadvantage against the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Finals at 2-3 standings, Booker continues to ignite the series with 40 points in the back-to-back game.

“I know it’s something that everybody is gonna ask right now, and I didn’t make that comparison myself. I just leave it at what he’s done for me as a mentor and the advice that he’s left me with, so I try to take bits and pieces of his mentality and approach, but I should never be compared to Kobe Bryant. ”

Tomorrow, the Suns will try to win Game 6 to extend the NBA Finals series and force a do-or-die game on their home court.
