Alex Eala, has already dived into the US Open

Alex Eala has already started her campaign at the US Open, where she immediately met home bet Charlotte Owensby in the second round of the girls ’singles event at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York.
The 16-year-old Filipina pride is the number 2 player in the world junior rankings, which is why she is favored against Owensby, as a wildcard entry.
Owensby is ITF Juniors No. 315, won the first-round against Thailand’s Pimrada Jattavapornvanit.
Meanwhile in the doubles, Eala and her partner Hanne Vandewinkel of Belgium are still waiting for their opponent.
