Ethiopia confirmed that the Delta variant has also entered

Ethiopia has confirmed that there are already Delta variant cases in their country.
Ethiopia is the latest African nation to confirm cases of the Delta variant of COVID-19.
Ethiopia’s Health Minister Liya Tadesse said up to 8,300 people had been infected with the coronavirus of which 118 were the last recorded deaths.
So far only 2.5 million people out of Ethiopia’s 114 million population have been vaccinated.
In this regard, Ethiopia has called for more COVID-19 vaccine to vaccinate at least 20% of their population.
