Ginebra is determined to get into the playoffs after beating Phoenix 94-87

Barangay Ginebra’s chances of making it to the playoffs of the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup are even stronger after they beat Phoenix 94-87.
Gin King seems to have recovered from three losses in the last four games and lifted the record of four wins and five losses in the game held at the DHVSI Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga.
Stanley Pringle’s incoming turn was key to tie the score at 87 all with 2:34 left in the last quarter.
Until LA Tenorio finally took away their advantage in the last minutes of the game.
Pringle scored the win with 31 points while Tenorio had 23 points.
Ginebra coach Tim Cone admitted that they struggled in the said match due to consecutive defeats.
Another big challenge now in the team’s next games is the injury of their center Japeth Aguilar.
Despite being injured he still has 21 points, 12 rebounds and two steals.
