According to the weather bulletin of PAGASA, the typhoon was last seen in western Central Luzon with wind speeds of up to 175 kilometers per hour near the center, and gusts hitting 215kph.

It is also possible to raise the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) up to TCWS No. 4 PAGASA in some provinces in Northern Luzon this morning.
The weather bureau, meanwhile, advised sailors to keep listening to the reports, as the northern and eastern seaboards of Luzon could be affected starting tomorrow.

Pagasa has removed Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 3, after Typhoon Jolina weakened as a severe tropical storm.

Despite this, many are still under Signal No. 2, which includes Masbate including Ticao and Burias Islands; northern portion of Romblon; Sorsogon; Albay; western and southern portions of Camarines Sur; western portion of Camarines Norte; central and southern portions of Quezon; Laguna; southeastern portion of Batangas; Marinduque; western portion of Northern Samar; extreme northwestern portion of Samar; and northern portion of Biliran.

Meanwhile, under Signal No. 1 the rest of Camarines Norte; some parts of Camarines Sur; some parts of Albay; Catanduanes; some parts of Romblon; Oriental Mindoro; Occidental Mindoro; some parts of Quezon; Rizal; some parts of Batangas; Cavite; Metro Manila; Bataan; Nueva Ecija; Tarlac; Zambales and Pampanga.

Signal No. 1 also the southern portion of Aurora; southern portion of Quirino; southeastern portion of Nueva Vizcaya; southern portion of Pangasinan; and other parts of northern Samar.

Signal No. 1 also the northern and central portions of Samar; northern of Eastern Samar; Some parts of Biliran; northern portion of Leyte; northern portion of Cebu; northern portion of Negros Occidental; northern portion of Iloilo; Capiz and Aklan.

Typhoon Jolina intensified and reached the severe tropical storm category around 5:00, Monday afternoon (September 6).

In the severe weather bulletin of PAGASA around 8:00 pm, the epicenter of the typhoon was last seen 30 kilometers East Northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar around 7:00 pm.
It already has wind speeds of up to 95 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 115 kilometers per hour.

PAGASA has already raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal number 1 in some areas due to the impact of typhoon Jolina.

PAGASA said typhoon Jolina was last seen at 4 a.m. at a distance of 300 kph East Southeast of Guian, Eastern Samar or 310 km of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms to Palawan, Mindanao, and Eastern and Central Visayas.

ITCZ and localized thunderstorms can also bring partly cloudy to overcast skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms in the National Capital Region and other parts of the country.

Pagasa said the country will suffer from the break of the monsoon.

According to the weather bureau, the monsoon break is a period where the existing wind pattern such as the southwest monsoon will not have a strong impact on the country’s weather systems.

Tropical depression Emong has finally left the Philippine area of Ã¢â‚¬â€¹Ã¢â‚¬â€¹responsibility (PAR).

According to Pagasa, it came out of the Philippine waters this past 9:00 am.

The epicenter was last seen 165 km northwest of Itbayat, Batanes.

It was moving towards China at a speed of 25 kph.

Its strength has diminished slightly in recent hours.

However, rains are still expected in large parts of our country due to the southwest wind.
