NBA season will stop due to the exposures of some players to COVID positives

NBA leadership has plans to suspend the games temporarily due to some staff and players who became positive to COVID-19 .
According to the league, they are already expecting cancellations of the games due to the escalating cases of the deadly virus.
The NBA says they continue to follow the advice of their medical experts and health and safety protocols.
Today the game was canceled by the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat due to lack of players after exposing some of them to COVID positive.
For NBA commissioner Adam Silver, it stands for the rule that a team can continue the game as long as there are a minimum of eight players.
Recently the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics also failed to meet the requirements as some players tested positive for COVID and others were placed in contact tracing.
The league hopes that everything will return to normal once the players are vaccinated.
