The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is confident that the country’s e-commerce will swell even more in 2022.
According to DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez who is considered to have saved E-commerce this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 scandal in 2020, the number of online sellers has increased.
From online selling, delivery services, online entertainment, telehealth services, digital payments have greatly helped the country’s economy.
The DTI also targets to reach 1 million online seller registrations by 2020 after registering more than half a million in 2020.
