SRA of 97,000 healthcare workers already paid

As many as 97,000 healthcare workers and frontliners will benefit from the P888 million fund released by the Department of Budget and Management for special risk allowance.
At the Always Ready Public Briefing, Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said the SRA is for healthcare workers responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Monday, September 6, he said, the DBM can release the Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) to the DOH.
Healthcare workers will receive up to P5,000 per month.
The DOH had earlier released P7 billion in funding for the SRA of more than 300,000 health workers.
