The number of people vaccinated in the country is now 34 million

Three milestones have already been recorded in the Philippines in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, the first milestone has reached 34.12 million vaccinated by September 1, 2021.
He said this is based on the National COVID-19 Dashboard.
Second milestone, according to Roque is that 20,002,404 have already received the first dose or the equivalent of 25.93 percent.
The promised milestone, according to Roque is that 14,109,916 are fully vaccinated or the equivalent of 18.29 percent.
The Philippines is already receiving up to 52 million doses of COVID vaccines.
Of that number, 32 million were purchased by the government while 3.6 million were procured by local governments and local government units.
There were 13, million COVAX donations; while 3. 6 million were donations from other countries.
