Those who have already obtained National ID are over 30-K

More than 30 million Filipinos have already registered with the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).
According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the said number is since September 9 when they completed their Step 2 registration for the national Identification (ID) Program.
Step 2 registration consists of biometric information such as fingerprints, iris scans and front-facing photographs and registration cameras.
PSA Undersecretary Dennis S. Mapa hopes that they will be able to increase the number of national ID recipients to 30 million.
There has only been a decrease in registrants in recent months due to the quarantine restrictions imposed by local government units (LGUs).
