1.2 million doses of COVID vaccines arrived in the country

1.2 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have arrived in the country.
According to a statement by the National Task Force Against COVID-19, one million doses of Sinovac were purchased while 260,800 doses of Sinopharm were donated by China to the Philippines.
The vaccines arrived this morning, August 21 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
It will be recalled that just last night, August 20, 739,200 doses of Sinopharm donated by China to the Philippines arrived in the country.
