Over 7-M underage TikTok users removed

TikTok video apps have deleted over seven million accounts owned by minors.
The said removal was carried out in the first three months of 2021.
According to the Chinese-owned app, they deleted about 62 million videos in the first quarter of the year for allegedly violating their community standards, including “hateful” content, nudity, harassment or being unsafe for minors.
They have a monitoring team that strictly filters accounts and users who do not state their true age.
It will reach more than one billion users of TikTok worldwide, including more than 100 million users in the US.
