COVID cases in PH are at 1.4-M, 4,289 new cases added

The number of new COVID-19 cases recorded in the Philippines is slightly higher today compared to last Tuesday.
According to a report by the Department of Health (DOH), 4,289 people have now been infected with the virus, bringing the total number of people infected with the virus to 1,450,110 in the Philippines since last year.
The number of active cases in the country was also slightly reduced to 47,519 or still recovering, equivalent to 3.3 percent of the total cases.
Many of their compatriots have recently recovered from the coronavirus, numbering 6,399.
The total number of cured in the country stands at 1,377,132.
Despite this, there are still 164 new deaths due to the deadly virus.
The death toll in the country now stands at 25,459.
Four laboratories failed to submit their data.
