More than 16,000 COVID 19 cases were added today

The Department of Health (DOH) announced this afternoon that 16,044 have been added to the number of COVID 19 cases in the country.
As a result, a total of 1,839,635 cases have been recorded in the country since the pandemic.
At the same time, 13,952 were cured of the disease for a total of 1,681,925, while there were 125,900 more active cases in the country.
According to active cases, 93.8 percent experience mild symptoms, 3.4 percent are asymptomatic, 1.2 percent are severe and 0.6 percent are in critical condition.
The death toll from 215 has now risen to 31,810.
Meanwhile, of the 65,583 who underwent testing last Friday, 25.5 percent turned out to be positive.
