PAGASA has already raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal number 1 in some areas due to the impact of typhoon Jolina.

According to PAGASA, among those under signal number 1 are Eastern Samar, Dinagat Island, Siargao, and Bucas Grande in Surigao del Norte.
PAGASA said typhoon Jolina was last seen at 4 a.m. at a distance of 300 kph East Southeast of Guian, Eastern Samar or 310 km of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.
Due to TD Jolina expect weak to moderate, sometimes heavy rain and gusty winds in Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Dinagat, and Siargao Island
