Granular lockdown on 57 areas in NCR

There are 57 areas in the National Capital region that are under granular lockdown.
In the Laging Handa Public Briefing, Interior Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya said almost all local government units in Metro Manila are in granular lockdown.
According to Malaya, it will be up to the LGU to issue an advance warning if an area is subjected to granular lockdown.
The government implemented pilot testing of the granular lockdown on September 16.
Metro Manila is now at Alert Level 4.
He said there are areas that need to be subjected to granular lockdown due to the high COVID-19 case.
At the same time, Malaya said the first day of the implementation of Alert Level 4 was a success.
