An additional 3 million doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine have arrived in the Philippines

An additional three million doses of COVID-19 vaccine manufactured by Sinovac have arrived in the Philippines.

The plane carrying the vaccine landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2, Tuesday afternoon.

Another batch of the arrived vaccine was purchased by the Philippine government.

Based on data from the Department of Health (DOH) and National Task Force Against COVID-19 as of Tuesday (August 31, 2021), the number of vaccines injected against infectious diseases in the country has reached a total of 33,099,392.
