COVID-19 cases in the Philippines, over 1.49-M; 5,221 were added

More than 5,000 new cases of Coronavirus Disease or COVID-19 have been reported in the Philippines.
According to the latest data from the Department of Health (DOH) on Thursday (July 15), there have been 1,490,665 confirmed cases of infectious diseases in the country.
Of the said number, 45,495 or 3.1 percent were active cases.
The department said there are 5,221 newly reported COVID-19 cases in the country.
91.4 percent of active COVID-19 cases were mild; 2.1 percent were asymptomatic; 1.96 percent were moderate; 2.8 percent were severe while 1.7 percent were in critical condition.
A total of 82 were reported killed.
As a result, COVID-19 related deaths in the country have risen to 26,314 or 1.77 percent.
According to the DOH, 4,147 have recovered from COVID-19.
As a result, the total recoveries of COVID-19 in the Philippines have risen to 1,418,856 or 95.2 percent.
