P18.5-million cash incentives, awarded by the MVP Sports Foundation to Olympic boxers

The MVP Sports Foundation held a ceremony for the formal awarding of P18.5-million cash incentives for Olympic boxers and coaches of the Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines.
Among the prizes distributed were P5-million each to Tokyo Olympic silver medalists Nesthy Petecio and Carlo Paalam, P2-million for bronze medalist Eumir Marcial, and P500,000 to Olympian Irish Magno through Philippine Olympic Committee (POC), and P6-million to ABAP coaches.
Present at the ceremony held at the Meralco Lighthouse Restaurant were MVPSF chairman Manny Pangilinan, POC president Abraham Tolentino, ABAP president Ricky Vargas, ABAP secretary-general Ed Picson, and others.
