Written by DZAT on September 3, 2021
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has assured that among their concerns will also be the reopening of businesses that were banned during the ECQ and in the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).
DTI Undersecretary Ireneo Vizmonte reported that among those they are considering opening the operation as well are restaurants for indoor and outdoor dine-ins.
However if it does open, it will only be for those vaccinated workers and vaccinated customers.
It also aims to provide protection to compatriots who have not been vaccinated.
Apart from the aforementioned businesses also included in the preparations to be opened during the ECQ and MECQ for the vaccinated are some health personal care services such as gyms, salons, and spas, arcades, indoor sports venues.
The DTI, on the other hand, admitted that restrictions and safeguards must also be enforced to prevent those who forge vaccine cards from getting through.
